bConverged CalculiX for Windows

Current Version

CalculiX_2_10_win_002.zip CalculiX for Windows 2.10, build 002 (49,362 kb)

Posted 08 May 2016.

This build includes CCX 2.10 (64 bit, multi-thread), CGX 2.10, compiled help file, test cases and two CAD translation tools (VDA and ACIS to FBD). It also contains gnuplot (5.0.3) for plotting results data, ImageMagick (7.0.1-6) for saving images and a custom built SciTE, a text editor which is integrated with the other tools.

This is a bug fix build. The testing script has been updated, env variable CCX_NPROC_STIFFNESS=1 was set to fix multi-threaded issues, all Python code was updated to Python 3.4.

Currently working on a 32bit build. VISTA and earlier Windows operating systems are no longer supported.

bConverged_5.1.003_Engauge.tgz Version 5.1, build 003 (7,858 kb)

Engauge is an open source digitizing software that I use to get data from images of plots. I have used it for years and have come to rely on it, particularly when getting material curves and test data from references. If you have not heard of Engauge, check out their website. There is a build here because there were some bugs which I needed to fix in order to continue using it.

This build includes the current version of Engauge with bug fixes for Windows and packaged in an installer. Engauge is integrated into the Windows environment by optionally adding shortcuts to your "Start" menu, associating the file extension DIG so double clicking will open a DIG file in Engage and registering the uninstaller so Windows can manage its clean up. The bug fixes are: fixed instability which causes a crash with more than two curves and packaged all of the libraries that it is dependent on. Revision 5.1.002 fixes a bug in the Start menu shortcut for uninstalling. If you find any bugs, please do not hesitate to email.
