Convergent Mechanical Solutions is the North American distributor and provider
of support services for ESAComp.
ESAComp is an analysis and design application for structures made from composite
materials. The application was developed under the European Space Agency with an
initial release in 1998. Since 2000, development has been done by
Componeering Inc.,
a Helsinki, Finland based company.
ESAComp has functionality that enables analysis and design of solid and sandwich
laminates as well as micromechanical scale structures. It also includes analysis tools
for structural elements including: plates, stiffened panels, beams and columns, bonded
and mechanical joints. ESAComp integrates into the development cycle thanks to
its ability to interface with many of the widely used finite element analysis software
